GPU releases shortlists of journalism awards

The initial shortlist of the Gambia national journalism award organized by the Gambia Press Union was released by the awards committee couple of hours ago.

The winners of each category of the journalism competition which the institution is organizing for the first time will be unveiled at a ceremony in a local hotel on Saturday, May 28.

Only one candidate will be selected from each awards category and the competition only accepted stories that were published locally.
